This 50-minute cruise departs from the heart of Tampere at Laukontori, just a stone’s throw from the Tampere Central Square. On the route, you’ll discover features such as the world’s tallest esker at Pyynikki. The stunning landscapes of Pispala line the route, and the ship makes a stop at Viikinsaari Island before returning. On the return trip, the route passes close to Hatanpää Manor and Arboretum. The Tammerkoski ship is equipped with a full-service bar, ice cream sales, and offers some savory snacks.

Services and Tickets

You can board the cruise by purchasing a ticket for your selected departure to Viikinsaari through our online store. The ship is part of the regular Viikinsaari route service, and the ticket will specify “Tampere, Laukontori – Viikinsaari.
